North Celestial Pole

The North Celestial Pole is an imaginary point in the sky directly above Earth's North Pole. If you draw a line from Earth through the North Pole and extend it into space, it would meet the sky at this point. It serves as a fixed point around which stars appear to rotate nightly due to Earth's rotation. Polaris, the North Star, is very close to this point, making it useful for navigation in the northern hemisphere. The North Celestial Pole helps astronomers track star movements and understand Earth's orientation in space.
