Norse pantheon
The Norse pantheon consists of gods and goddesses from ancient Scandinavian mythology, who embody natural forces and human values. Key figures include Odin, the wise ruler of the gods; Thor, the thunder god known for strength; Freyja, associated with love and fertility; and Loki, a trickster deity. These gods inhabit Asgard, connected to Midgard (Earth) by the rainbow bridge Bifröst. They play roles in shaping the universe, guiding humans, and engaging in epic myths about creation, wrath, and heroism. The Norse gods reflect their worldview—valor, honor, and the inevitable death, which leads to an apocalyptic battle called Ragnarok.
