
Norman Mineta
Norman Mineta was an influential American politician and businessman, known for his service as the U.S. Secretary of Transportation from 2001 to 2006 under President George W. Bush. He played a crucial role during and after the September 11 attacks, implementing significant changes in transportation security. Prior to this, Mineta served as the mayor of San José, California, and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
