Norman knights
Norman knights were skilled cavalry soldiers from Normandy, a region in northern France, who played a key role during the medieval period. They were heavily armed warriors trained for warfare and often served noble lords or kings as mounted fighters. Knights followed a code of conduct called chivalry, emphasizing loyalty, bravery, and protecting the weak. Their military strength was significant in battles such as the Norman Conquest of England in 1066. Beyond fighting, knights also managed land and resources, contributing to the feudal system that organized medieval society.
