Nordicism

Nordicism is a belief that idealizes Nordic or Northern European peoples as superior to other groups, often emphasizing traits like tall stature, light hair, and fair skin. Historically, this idea has been linked to racist and ethnocentric movements that value Northern Europeans while dismissing or devaluing other ethnicities. It gained prominence in the 19th and early 20th centuries and has been used to justify discriminatory practices. Today, Nordicism is widely discredited and recognized as a pseudoscientific and racist ideology that promotes harmful stereotypes and inequality.
