Nordic Service Design is an approach focused on creating and improving services that are user-centered, efficient, and accessible. Inspired by Scandinavian countries’ emphasis on teamwork and sustainability, it combines understanding customer needs with innovative thinking and collaboration across disciplines. The goal is to develop services—whether digital, physical, or a mix—that deliver real value, are easy to use, and promote positive experiences. This design process often involves research, prototyping, and continuous feedback to ensure the service meets the diverse needs of users and supports societal and environmental wellbeing.
