Nordic Defense Cooperation

Nordic Defense Cooperation (NORDEFCO) is an alliance among the Nordic countries—Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden—to collaborate on defense and security. It aims to strengthen their military capabilities, share resources, and coordinate responses to threats, while respecting each country’s independence. NORDEFCO enhances regional stability through joint training, information sharing, and joint exercises, ensuring that these nations can better protect their interests and contribute to overall security in the Nordic region.
