The Nord-Pas-de-Calais Regional Council was the governing body responsible for the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region in northern France, overseeing regional development, transportation, education, and economic policies. It was composed of elected representatives who worked to improve infrastructure, support local industries, and promote social services. The council played a key role in planning regional investments and representing residents’ interests until the region was merged into Hauts-de-France in 2016.
