Nonprobability Sampling

Nonprobability sampling is a way of selecting a group for study where not every individual has an equal chance of being chosen. Instead, researchers select participants based on specific criteria, convenience, or judgment. This method is useful when quick, inexpensive results are needed or when a random sample isn't practical. However, because not everyone has a chance to be included, the results may not represent the entire population accurately, potentially leading to biased outcomes. It’s often used in early research or exploratory studies where generalization isn’t the primary goal.
