Nonlinear Observer Design

Nonlinear observer design involves creating a mathematical tool that estimates the internal state of a complex system whose behavior doesn't follow straight-line relationships. Since these systems are often difficult to measure directly, the observer uses available outputs and known inputs to infer what’s happening inside. It filters and processes data to provide accurate, real-time estimates of the system's internal variables. This approach ensures effective monitoring and control of systems like robots, aircraft, or chemical processes, even when their dynamics are nonlinear and complex.
