Nonaka's Theory of Organizational Learning

Nonaka’s Theory of Organizational Learning explains how organizations create knowledge through a continuous cycle of converting tacit (hidden, experience-based) and explicit (documented, formal) knowledge. This process involves four modes: socialization (sharing tacit knowledge through shared experiences), externalization (articulating tacit knowledge into explicit forms), combination (mixing different explicit knowledge), and internalization (absorbing explicit knowledge to develop new tacit understanding). These interactions enable organizations to innovate, adapt, and improve by fostering a dynamic, iterative learning process that integrates individual and collective insights.
