Nonaka's SECI Model
Nonaka's SECI Model describes how organizations create knowledge through four interconnected processes: Socialization (sharing tacit knowledge through shared experiences), Externalization (converting tacit knowledge into explicit concepts), Combination (systematically organizing explicit knowledge), and Internalization (absorbing explicit knowledge to develop new tacit understanding). These processes form a continuous cycle, enabling knowledge to evolve from personal insights to organizational assets. Essentially, the model illustrates how knowledge is created, shared, and converted within organizations, fostering innovation and learning through ongoing interaction between tacit and explicit knowledge.
