Non-specific terms refer to words or phrases that lack precise or detailed meaning, making them broad or general. For example, saying "some people" is non-specific because it doesn't identify exactly who is being referred to. Such terms are often used when the speaker doesn't need or want to specify details, but they can also lead to ambiguity.
