Non-shockable rhythms

Non-shockable rhythms are types of abnormal heartbeats that do not respond to electric shocks used in cardiac emergencies. These rhythms include asystole (heart flatline with no electrical activity) and pulseless electrical activity (organized electrical signals without effective heartbeat). In these cases, shock therapy isn't effective; instead, treatment focuses on immediate chest compressions, administering medications like adrenaline, and supporting vital functions to restore a normal heartbeat. Recognizing these rhythms quickly is crucial for effective emergency response and increasing the chances of patient survival.
