Non-Binary Individuals
Non-binary individuals are people whose gender identity doesn’t fit within the traditional categories of “male” or “female.” They may feel their gender is a mix of both, neither, or something entirely different. Non-binary is an umbrella term, and each person’s experience is unique. It’s important to respect their identity and use their preferred pronouns, which might include they/them, ze/hir, or others. Recognizing non-binary identities helps promote understanding, inclusivity, and affirming people’s authentic selves.
