Nominal Group Technique

Nominal Group Technique (NGT) is a structured method for generating and prioritizing ideas within a group. Participants first think silently and write down their ideas individually. Then, they share these ideas one at a time in a round-robin format, without discussion. After all ideas are listed, the group discusses them openly for clarification. Finally, each member privately ranks or votes on the ideas. The results are then tallied to identify the most important or popular suggestions. This approach encourages equal participation, reduces dominance by certain individuals, and ensures a democratic and efficient decision-making process.
