Nodes of the Moon

The Nodes of the Moon are points where the Moon’s orbit intersects the Earth's ecliptic plane, representing the points where the Moon crosses the Sun’s path. There are two nodes: the North Node (or Dragon's Head), associated with future growth, destiny, and learning lessons, and the South Node (or Dragon's Tail), linked to past experiences and ingrained habits. In astrology, these nodes reveal insights about our life path, soul’s purpose, and areas for development. They are not physical objects but symbolic points that influence personal growth and karmic themes in an individual’s birth chart.
