NOD

NOD, or Nodulation, is a natural process where certain bacteria in the soil form specialized structures called nodules on the roots of legume plants like beans and peas. Inside these nodules, bacteria convert nitrogen from the air into a form the plant can use for growth. This symbiotic relationship benefits the plant by providing essential nutrients, reducing the need for artificial fertilizers. In essence, nodulation is nature’s way of helping legumes access vital nitrogen, promoting healthy growth and sustainable agriculture.
