
Nobel Committee for Peace
The Nobel Committee for Peace is a group responsible for selecting the Nobel Peace Prize winners each year. They are part of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, appointed by the Norwegian Parliament (Storting). The committee reviews nominations, evaluates candidates’ contributions to peace, and decides who should receive the prize, which is awarded to individuals or organizations that have made significant efforts to promote peace, resolve conflicts, or advance disarmament.
