Noah's Ark (mythological)
Noah's Ark is a biblical story from the Book of Genesis describing how God, seeing humanity's wickedness, decided to flood the earth to cleanse it. He chose Noah, a righteous man, to build a large boat—an ark—to save his family and pairs of every animal species. The floodwaters covered the world, destroying all life outside the ark. After the waters receded, the ark came to rest on a mountain, and Noah's family and the animals repopulated the earth. The story symbolizes themes of obedience, divine judgment, and renewal.
