Nizams
The Nizams were Muslim rulers who governed the Hyderabad State in India from the early 18th century until 1948. They were originally Asaf Jahi dynasty monarchs and held significant political and military power, managing a large and diverse territory. Known for their administration, culture, and contributions to infrastructure, the Nizams maintained a semi-autonomous status even when India gained independence in 1947. Their rule combined traditional royal authority with modern administrative practices, making Hyderabad an important cultural and economic center during their reign.
