Nizam's Army
The Nizam’s Army was the military force of the Nizam of Hyderabad, a princely state in India before independence. It consisted of infantry, cavalry, artillery, and other units responsible for defending the region and maintaining internal order. Known for its size and modern equipment, it played a key role in the state's governance. After India gained independence in 1947, the army faced integration challenges, leading to its eventual integration into the Indian Armed Forces in 1948, which helped unify the country’s military under a central government.
