Nixon Administration
The Nixon Administration refers to the period when Richard Nixon served as President of the United States from 1969 to 1974. His presidency focused on policies such as ending the Vietnam War, improving relations with China and the Soviet Union, and implementing economic reforms. However, it is also known for the Watergate scandal, a break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters that led to Nixon’s resignation—the first U.S. president to do so—due to efforts to cover up the scandal. Nixon's tenure significantly shaped U.S. politics and public trust in government.
