NIPPV

NIPPV, or Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation, is a medical technique that helps people breathe using a machine without inserting tubes into their windpipe. It delivers pressurized air through a mask worn over the nose or face, assisting the lungs in taking in oxygen and removing carbon dioxide. This method is often used for conditions like chronic respiratory failure, sleep apnea, or during illness recovery. Because it’s non-invasive, it reduces the risks associated with tubes and invasive ventilators, providing support to improve breathing while allowing the patient to remain conscious and comfortable.
