Nilotinib

Nilotinib is a targeted cancer medication used mainly to treat certain types of leukemia, specifically chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). It works by blocking a specific protein called the BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase, which is abnormally active in these cancer cells and promotes their growth. By inhibiting this protein, Nilotinib helps control the spread of cancer cells and reduces disease progression.
