Nijinska was a renowned Polish-British choreographer and dancer, born in 1891, and sister to the famous ballet pioneer Michel Fokine. She was a key figure in the early 20th-century ballet world, known for her innovative choreography that emphasized storytelling and emotional depth. As a principal dancer with the Ballets Russes, she collaborated with influential artists and revolutionized dance with her creative vision.
