NGLTF (National Gay and Lesbian Task Force)

The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF) was an organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and equality of LGBTQ+ individuals. It worked to promote social justice, fight discrimination, and influence policy changes at the local, state, and national levels. The NGLTF also provided resources, conducted research, and built community coalitions to support LGBTQ+ visibility and acceptance. In 2014, it merged with other organizations to form the National LGBTQ Task Force, continuing its mission under a new name.
