
Ngiyambaa
Ngiyambaa is an Aboriginal Australian language traditionally spoken by the Ngiyambaa people in the New South Wales region. It is part of the Pama–Nyungan language family, which covers most of Australia. Although it became endangered due to colonization and cultural disruption, efforts are underway to revitalize and preserve it. Ngiyambaa is notable for its complex grammar and unique vocabulary, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of its speakers. Today, it is recognised for its importance in understanding Indigenous history and identity in Australia.
