Ángel Gurría Treviño

Ángel Gurría Treviño is a Mexican economist and diplomat who served as the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) from 2006 to 2021. In this role, he helped coordinate policies among wealthy countries to promote economic growth, improve living standards, and address global challenges like inequality, climate change, and innovation. Prior to the OECD, he held various government positions in Mexico, including Secretary of Finance.
