Ngāti Māmoe
Ngāti Māmoe is a Māori iwi (tribe) from New Zealand, historically based in the South Island. They are one of the indigenous groups that contributed to the region’s cultural heritage. Ngāti Māmoe intermingled and sometimes merged with neighboring tribes, notably Ngāi Tahu and Waitaha. Today, they maintain their cultural identity through customs, stories, and land affiliations, actively preserving their history and traditions while participating in contemporary Māori society.
