NFC (National Football Conference)

The National Football Conference (NFC) is one of two divisions in the National Football League (NFL), the other being the American Football Conference (AFC). Each conference consists of 16 teams that compete in a regular season, culminating in the playoffs. The NFC champions face the AFC champions in the Super Bowl, the NFL's championship game. The NFC features some of the most storied franchises in football history, including the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers. Its teams are divided into four divisions: East, North, South, and West, and they play a mix of inter-conference and intra-conference games each season.
