NeXT
NeXT was a technology company founded by Steve Jobs in 1985 after he left Apple. It specialized in creating high-end computers aimed at businesses, universities, and developers, with advanced hardware and software design. Though its computers were pricey, they were known for innovative features and powerful performance. NeXT also developed the NeXTSTEP operating system, which later became the foundation for Appleās macOS. The company eventually shifted focus from hardware to software and services. In 1996, Apple acquired NeXT, which played a crucial role in revitalizing Apple and bringing Jobs back to lead the company.
