New York Road Runners (NYRR) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting running and active lifestyles. Founded in 1958, it organizes and hosts numerous race events around New York City, including the famous TCS New York City Marathon. NYRR provides training programs, youth development initiatives, and community engagement to encourage health and fitness for people of all ages and abilities. Its mission is to inspire personal achievement through running, fostering a more active, connected, and healthier community.
