New South Wales Legislative Assembly

The New South Wales Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the state’s Parliament in Australia. It is made up of Members of Parliament (MPs) elected by residents of New South Wales. The Assembly's main role is to make and pass laws, scrutinize the government, and represent the interests of the people. It works alongside the Legislative Council (the upper house) to ensure balanced and thorough lawmaking. The party or coalition with the most seats in the Assembly usually forms the government, and its leader becomes the Premier of New South Wales.
