New Horizons Mission
The New Horizons mission is a space probe launched by NASA in 2006 to explore the distant Pluto and its moons, as well as other objects in the Kuiper Belt, a region beyond Neptune filled with icy bodies. It conducts close-up observations, gathering detailed images and data about these remote objects to better understand the early solar system's formation. After its successful flyby of Pluto in 2015, New Horizons continues to travel outward, studying other Kuiper Belt objects, providing valuable insights into our solar system's history and evolution.
