New Covenant Theology

New Covenant Theology (NCT) is a Christian interpretive framework that emphasizes the continuity of God's promises and principles from the Old Testament into the New Testament through Jesus Christ. It teaches that the New Covenant established by Jesus fulfills and replaces the Old Covenant, but many moral laws remain relevant. Unlike Dispensationalism, NCT sees the Bible’s covenants as part of a unified plan, with distinctions mainly in how God relates to different eras. Overall, NCT seeks to understand Scripture as a cohesive story of God's redemption without dividing it into distinct dispensations.
