Neuroscience Anatomy
Neuroscience anatomy studies the structure of the nervous system, especially the brain and spinal cord. The brain is made up of different parts, like the cortex, which manages thinking and perception; the cerebellum, coordinating movement; and the brainstem, controlling vital functions like breathing. The spinal cord acts as a communication highway between the brain and the rest of the body. Nerves branch out from the spinal cord to send signals that control muscles, sense touch, and process sensations. Understanding this complex architecture helps us learn how the nervous system supports thoughts, emotions, movement, and everyday functions.
