Neuroplasticity and the Unconscious
Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to change and adapt by forming new connections and pathways in response to experiences, learning, or injury. It allows us to acquire new skills or recover from damage. The unconscious refers to mental processes happening below our awareness, influencing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without us actively noticing. Together, they mean that our brain continuously rewires itself based on experiences—much of this reorganization occurs without conscious effort, shaping habits, perceptions, and responses in ways we're often unaware of.
