Network Service Provider (NSP)
A Network Service Provider (NSP) is a company that owns and manages the infrastructure—such as cables, switches, and servers—that enables internet and data connectivity. They build and maintain large networks that connect different regions, organizations, and homes, ensuring data can travel smoothly and reliably across vast distances. NSPs supply internet access and network services to internet service providers (ISPs) and other organizations, acting as the backbone for digital communication. In essence, they provide the foundational network infrastructure that supports our online activities.
