Net Run Rate (NRR) is a cricket statistic used to compare teams' performances in a league or tournament. It is calculated by subtracting the average runs a team concedes per over from the average runs they score per over. For example, if a team scores 200 runs in 20 overs (10 runs per over) and concedes 150 runs in 20 overs (7.5 runs per over), their NRR is 10 - 7.5 = +2.5. A positive NRR indicates a team is scoring faster than they are defending, often serving as a key factor in league rankings when teams have equal points.
