Nephites

The Nephites are a group of ancient people described in the Book of Mormon, a religious text of the Latter-day Saint movement. According to their account, they descended from a family that left Jerusalem around 600 BC and settled in the Americas. They are depicted as striving to follow God's commandments, often in conflict with their enemies, the Lamanites. The Nephites are known for their complex history, including periods of righteousness and decline, and they play a central role in the religious narratives about faith, obedience, and divine guidance in the Book of Mormon.
