Nepalese government

Nepal's government is a federal democratic republic, meaning power is shared between a central government and individual provinces. It has three main branches: the executive, led by the Prime Minister, who runs the government; the legislature, which makes laws through elected representatives; and the judiciary, which interprets laws through courts. The President is the ceremonial head of state. Nepal's political system emphasizes democracy, with regular elections, constitutional guarantees of rights, and a legal framework designed to represent diverse communities across the country.
