Neoplastic Diseases

Neoplastic diseases involve abnormal growths of cells, which can form lumps or tumors. These growths result from genetic changes that cause cells to divide and grow uncontrollably, bypassing normal regulatory processes. Some tumors are benign, meaning they do not spread and are generally less harmful, while others are malignant (cancerous), capable of invading nearby tissues and spreading to other parts of the body. The key feature is the uncontrolled proliferation of abnormal cells, which can disrupt normal body functions and require medical treatment to manage or eliminate.
