Negative Dialectics

Negative Dialectics, developed by philosopher Theodor Adorno, is a way of understanding reality that emphasizes questioning and critique rather than fixed definitions or totalizing systems. It suggests that truth and meaning are never complete or entirely knowable because reality is complex, contradictory, and constantly changing. Instead of trying to fully grasp or categorize everything, Negative Dialectics encourages us to recognize differences, challenge existing assumptions, and remain open to ongoing critical exploration. This approach fosters a deeper awareness of societal and cultural issues by emphasizing the importance of critique and the provisional nature of knowledge.
