
Ned Kelly (legend)
Ned Kelly was an infamous Australian outlaw and folk hero in the late 19th century. Born in 1854 to Irish immigrant parents, he became the leader of the Kelly Gang, known for robbing banks and engaging in violent clashes with police. Kelly is best remembered for his iconic iron armor, which he fashioned for a dramatic standoff at Glenrowan in 1880. Captured, he was tried and executed in 1880.
