Nebulae

Nebulae are vast, luminous clouds of gas and dust in space, often acting as stellar nurseries where new stars form. They come in various shapes and colors, caused by different chemical compositions and radiation from nearby stars. Nebulae can be remnants of dead stars, like supernova remnants, or the birthplace of future stars. They are often visible as bright patches or, with telescopes, intricate, glowing structures. Studying nebulae provides insight into the life cycle of stars and the evolution of galaxies.
