Neandertal

Neanderthals were an extinct species or subspecies of early humans that lived in Europe and parts of Asia from about 400,000 to 40,000 years ago. They were physically robust, with a large skull, prominent brow ridges, and a strong build, adapted to cold environments. Neanderthals made tools, controlled fire, and possibly had symbolic behaviors like burial rituals. They coexisted and interacted with early modern humans, leaving evidence of interbreeding. Their study helps us understand human evolution, showing that they were complex, capable beings with cultural and biological traits similar in many ways to us.
