NCAA FCS Football Championship

The NCAA FCS (Football Championship Subdivision) Football Championship is an annual postseason tournament that determines the national champion among smaller college football programs. Unlike the FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision), which uses bowl games and the College Football Playoff system, the FCS employs a single-elimination playoff featuring 24 teams. These teams earn spots through regular-season performance and rankings. The tournament culminates in a championship game, often called the FCS Playoff National Championship, where the two remaining teams compete for the national title, showcasing the top talent outside the FBS level.
