Naxalism

Naxalism is a militant movement in India led by Maoist groups advocating for the rights of marginalized rural communities. They oppose authorities they view as oppressive and seek to overthrow the government to establish a communist-based system. Rooted in rural poverty, land exploitation, and social inequality, Naxalists often resort to armed insurgency, disrupting law and order in certain regions. The government aims to eliminate their influence through security operations while also addressing underlying social and economic issues that fuel their support.
