Naval Sea Cadet Corps
The Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a youth mentorship organization that offers young people aged 11 to 17 opportunities to learn about naval and maritime skills through training, leadership development, community service, and hands-on experiences. Supported by the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, it aims to foster discipline, teamwork, and patriotism while providing valuable insights into Navy career paths. Participants wear uniforms, attend trainings, and may participate in ships’ visits and drills, promoting personal growth and an understanding of maritime services without a commitment to military service.
